Bonus Terms Explained
Casino bonus jargon can be confusing. Here's a plain-language decoder for the most common terms you'll see at jiliw and any PH online casino.
Wagering Requirement / Rollover
This is the number of times you must bet your bonus amount before you can withdraw any winnings derived from it. A x10 rollover means if you received a ₱1,000 bonus, you need to place ₱10,000 in total bets before cashing out. A x15 requirement on the same bonus means ₱15,000 in bets.
Example: jiliw welcome bonus ₱5,000 × x15 rollover = ₱75,000 total bets required before withdrawal.
Maximum Bet During Bonus
When you're playing with active bonus funds, there is a cap on how much you can wager per spin or hand. Exceeding this limit can result in bonus forfeiture. Most PH casinos set this cap between ₱250 and ₱500 per round.
Example: At jiliw, the max bet while using a bonus is ₱500 per spin. Betting ₱1,000 on a single slot spin while using bonus funds may void the bonus.
Game Contribution
Not all games contribute equally toward your rollover requirement. Slots typically count 100% of each bet. Table games like baccarat or blackjack usually contribute only 10–20%, meaning you need to play much more to clear the wagering requirement.
Example: ₱1,000 wagered on Fortune Gems = ₱1,000 toward rollover. ₱1,000 on live baccarat = only ₱100–₱200 toward rollover.
Bonus Expiry
Bonuses do not last forever. Typical expiry windows are 7, 14, or 30 days from the date the bonus is credited to your account. If you don't meet the rollover requirement within this window, both the bonus and any winnings from it are forfeited.
Example: A bonus activated on January 1 with a 14-day expiry must be fully wagered by January 15 at 11:59 PM.
Sticky vs. Non-Sticky Bonus
A sticky bonus stays in your account throughout play but can never be withdrawn directly — only the winnings you generate from it can be cashed out. A non-sticky (also called "cashable") bonus can be withdrawn once the wagering requirement is met.
Example: You receive a ₱2,000 sticky bonus, wager it correctly, and end up with ₱4,500. You can withdraw ₱2,500 (winnings only); the original ₱2,000 bonus disappears.
Maximum Cash-Out from Bonus
Even after meeting the rollover requirement, most bonuses cap the total amount you can withdraw from bonus-derived winnings. This protects the casino from very large wins on free/matched funds.
Example: jiliw's welcome bonus has a ₱30,000 max cash-out. Even if you turned ₱5,000 bonus into ₱80,000, you can only withdraw ₱30,000 of those bonus-derived funds.
